Our services include:

We specialize in STEAM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), Sports and Health, and Educational Technologies. Our team brings multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of Science Education, Educational Technologies, Sports and Exercise Science, and Physical Education, with long-term experience in the preparation and submission of proposals and in the implementation of projects, combining knowledge and skills from the academia and the industry. Our work is capitalised on educational research outcomes.

Our focus, as reflected also through our published work, is directed on: 

  1. Science education research, involving topics such as inquiry-based learning and teaching, argumentation, modeling-based teaching and learning, formative assessment
  2. Educational technology research, involving topics such as the use of digital and emerging technologies in education (e.g., chatbots, Virtual Reality, virtual learning environments, simulations, games)
  3. Physical education research, involving topics such as Physical Literacy, e-sports, use of digital and emerging technologies in physical education and in sports, physical activity for health.
  4. Expertise on participatory methodologies (i.e., co-design techniques, participatory dialogue, design thinking) and  knowledge on contemporary pedagogies (inquiry-based learning and teaching, problem-based learning, experiential learning etc.).
  5. Experience in the development of learning frameworks, innovative curriculum, creative training material, evaluation, and skills progression frameworks.

Services

What we do:

 

Learning design and assessment.

Inquirium designs inclusive educational programs and curriculum for equipping learners of all educational levels (from primary and secondary to higher and adult level education) with 21st century competencies, including STEM competencies, scientific, digital, and physical literacy, while fostering knowledge, understanding and ownership of values and attitudes. Expertise is brought by its members in particular areas, such instructional and curriculum design, formative assessment, and e-assessment.

Training and capacity building.

Inquirium develops tailored made material and programs and delivers training and capacity building activities to individuals and organizations with the aim to provide them with the required knowledge, skills, and attitudes in different thematic areas and foci and for different target groups, such as teacher’s professional development workshops, educational workshops, and events. The team also organizes interactive workshops, bootcamps and summer camps, targeting primary, secondary, and higher education students, in topics such as: Science Teaching and Learning, STEAM education, use of Virtual Reality in sports, STEM Sports, and recreational Sport activities.

Educational Research.

Inquirium carries out research on a variety of topics by employing a mix of tools and approaches which usually take the following forms: State-of-the-art analysis, Training needs analysis, Data analysis and interpretation, Best practice research, Evaluation and Impact assessment, Research and policy design.

Project Management.

Our team members bring more than 15 years of collective experience in the coordination, management, financial monitoring and reporting of EU funded projects. Leveraging this experience Inquirium has the capacity to design, develop and coordinate successful and impactful research and innovation projects.
